Venus Fly Trap Dente (Dionaea muscipula ‘Dente’) has been a popular Venus fly trap for many years. First, Dente is a vigorous grower, Second its teeth are shorter than average but Dente takes on a fierce appearance. The traps will be green unless it is grown in bright sun, then the traps become red. If grown outside the leaves will tend to grow longer. Venus Flytrap ‘Dente’ has wicked, shark-like teeth instead of the typical needle-like structures. These are Venus fly trap plants are vigorous growers and are very popular among collectors.

The plants arrived beautifully in great shape! Especially considering the big heat wave we’re having… I was a little worried about them in the mailbox.
Cody opened them right away and planted them and put them in an east facing window here in Missouri.
